No-Bake Lactation Bites…Need Not Be Lactating to Try

I’m serious folks. These things are the bees knees…pooh’s honey in his honey pot. Absolutely delicious and absolutely for everyone. You could be a 26 year-old with a power driven work week, a 65 year old retiree who likes going on long runs or a frazzled dazzled mum like myself. No milk ducts are required.

Basically these lactation bites are no-bake energy balls. Ridiculously easy to make and power packed with some core essential B-vitamins thanks to a power house of brewer’s yeast. If you are sensitive to yeasts you can totally make them without the yeast. Check out the oh so glorious Beth Kirby’s Local Milk Blog for her Adaptogen Coconut Bliss Balls that are void of yeasts.

At our house we make these and put them in the fridge. Freezer is even better—think frozen cookie dough! Another reason for putting them in the freezer is if you are stock piling for a babe on the way. The most glorious thing when you are too dazed and tired to do anything but open your cooling appliance and there miraculously is an amazing morsel to save you from a hangry hunger collapse. For real.
